Personal Assistance Services
Our Personal Assistance Services (PAS) empower seniors to hire the personal care assistant of their choice, including a friend or relative. Those seniors living with cognitive impairments may appoint a representative to act on their behalf. This personal care assistant will then assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, mobility, and light housekeeping.
Services
- Bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Performing reference and background checks
- Arranging Worker's Compensation
- Issuing paychecks to personal care assistants including tax withholding
- Maintaining local, state, and federal tax records for you and your assistant
- Conducting orientation for seniors and personal care assistants
- Assisting with recruiting, hiring, firing, and training of in-home employees
- Round-the-clock customer service
Training Series
JEVS Human Services offers a cutting-edge consumer directed training series consisting of video and written components that covers 11 topics essential to creating an effective relationship between the consumer and his or her attendant.
This training series is FREE for individuals who receive services through Supports for Independence.
Eligibility
- Must be age 60 or older

Languages Available
We have dedicated bilingual staff that can assist with the language needs of many individuals. We also have access to intrepreting services. Please call for more information.
